I’ve been a professional writer for years, and a full time freelancer since 2000. I’ve written on a huge range of subjects, from prehistory to Formula One, and I can help with anything that isn’t fiction: anything factual, anything real.
My particular passion is writing about food and I’m a member of the prestigious Guild of Food Writers. I have a flourishing food blog, Twelve Miles from a Lemon.
I’ve written books for various publishers, including Random House and HarperCollins (more details are on the about page). I’ve also had journalism published in the Guardian and recipes I wrote for a diet book serialised in the Daily Mail. I provide online content and copywriting services, as well.
I also do a lot of rewriting. I have turned a business autobiography from unconnected notes into coherent narrative, and a top chef’s recipe from a sketchy table of ingredients designed to serve sixty into a much more practical version serving four.
